"Energy clone!" Shira breathed in awesome wonder.

Liz'An stared at the 2nd beautiful Kan-Dari in awe as well. She raised a single giant claw and gave the clone's arm a light poke.

"Hey!" The second Kan-Dari yelped. "Don't do that!"

"Wow!" Liz'An exclaimed. "It's like it is alive!"

"It is alive!" The real Kan-Dari said with a smile. "As long as an energy clone takes form, it becomes part of me. I can share its senses and I can control it as easily as I control my limbs. In fact, if I create a stronger energy clone, it would even be able to cast simple spells!"

"Wow… That's awesome!" Shira stared at the clone and sighed. "You qualify to join our monster club. Welcome, Kan-Dari, Elven Princess of Rin-Turah!"

Kan-Dari nodded and smiled happily at Shira for calling her a princess, her beautiful and elegant club totally forgotten.

Aleyria smiled at her three bodyguards as well.

"Kan-Dari is also a once-in-a-millenium talent. She has an adaptive body which can slowly increase her affinity with the earth element. However, she is currently undergoing some special training with a few other elements. Hopefully we will know soon if she can increase her affinity with other elements too!" Aleyria said.

"Increasing affinity? With other elements too? Monster! You're the monster of all monsters!" Shira cried. "I hereby relinquish my position as president of the monster club. You're the real monster president!"

"Alright then! Mwa ha ha! Behold! I am the monster president!" Kan-Dari tried to laugh sinisterly. But because she was a high elf blessed with an angelic voice, she ended up sounding really cute and adorable instead.

"Hey, What about me? I may be your mistress, but I want to be part of the club too!" Aleyria frowned jokingly.

"No way, Mistress. This is the monsters club, not the Goddess club!" Shira rejected firmly. "In the monsters club, we are all incredibly powerful, like monsters. But that's all we are. You, on the other hand, are both powerful and beautiful! So you're overqualified. In fact, you're so beautiful that you don't even qualify to be a normal member of our club, much less the president!"

Kan-Dari blinked a few times, trying to process Shira's words. She sensed her teasing tone, so she knew there was a barb there somewhere, but somehow she couldn't figure it out.

Liz'An giggled and glanced at Kan-Dari. However, she discovered that Kan-Dari was glaring at her, so she quickly turned away and grabbed a juicy apple to eat.

Shira smirked at Kan-Dari. Very soon, she too received a glare from Kan-Dari. But instead of shying away, Shira gave Kan-Dari a playful wink.

"Grrrrr.. I don't want to be the president of your stupid club anymore! Take it back!" Kan-Dari fumed.

"No way! According to the rules, you'll need to find a willing replacement to be the president before you can step down!" Shira quickly replied.

"Alright, Liz'An, why don't you be the president?" Kan-Dari asked Liz'An.

"Uh, I do not think I'll be a good president…" Liz'An said in between mouthfuls of juicy apple bites.

"Shira!! You be the president! It's your stupid club!"

"No!"

"I order you to!"

"Order denied! According to the rules, presidents cannot give orders relating to club positions!"

"What rules? Where is the rulebook??"

"It-it's in the palace!"

"Grrr!"

Aleyria sighed in contentment and leaned back on her chair to enjoy the slow and lazy atmosphere. Good food, good friends, and lots of bickering between Shira and Kan-Dari. It was indeed a good way to end the day.

Alexander sat cross legged on his bed, sensing the magical energy within him. The poison had destroyed much of his magical capacity, leaving behind an extremely small amount which could barely be used to cast a single full-powered spell before running out.

However, when the power of Perses strengthened his body, it had also enlarged his magical capacity quite significantly. Additionally, somehow he gained the ability to cast spells from every single element without having to charge his power with that particular element. However, it was useless if he had maximum flexibility with zero magical capacity.

He thought back to the moment he felt the Power of Perses awaken within him and drove out the poison, and somehow increased his magical capacity.

It had inspired him greatly. If strengthening his body allowed his magical capacity to increase, then it should be possible to use other methods to increase it as well. It was not fixed from birth as people believed.

Alexander needed to increase his strength as soon as possible.

Although fusing with the dragon would allow him to access the dragon's immense energy pool, it was still a perilous adventure away. He had to figure out an additional method in the meantime.

He circulated his magical energy around his body, sensing how the energy interacted with his blood, organs and various body parts. The more he sensed his body's condition, the more he despaired.

True, he had expected the damage to be horrendous. But he had never expected that the vast majority of the tiny units in his body had fully atrophied in terms of magical capacity. And not just that, even the thousands of new ones that were constantly being reproduced did not contain a single shred of magic.

The remaining units in his body that still contained magic had managed to retain its magical property, and the new units being reproduced were still able to contain magic, albeit at an ever decreasing amount. It was like he was being reborn as a non-magical user.

"At this rate I will completely lose my magic in one year. I'll probably only be effective as a magic user for at most another one or two months. Even now, I am disgustingly weak." Alexander sighed. "Buccephalas, anything?"

"Theoretically, there is a way…" Buccephalas said hesitatingly.

"Really? What way? Hurry up and tell me!" Alexander's mood brightened considerably.

"Don't get your hopes up. It's just a theory." Buccephalas said.

"Aw come on. Whatever it is, it's better than having nothing." Alexander said impatiently.

"That's true too. Alright then. Well, as you know all human beings were originally non-magic users. It was only when the God of Magic, Magius granted them the ability to control magic that human beings began to have magic. Well, theoretically, if Magius can give human beings magic once, he could do it again. So...:"

"So all I need to do is to get him to give me magic!" Alexander cried out.

"Yes, to put it bluntly, that's exactly right." Buccephalas said.

"Hmmm. Alright. So where is Magius?"

"No idea."

"Do you think his acolytes or priests can contact him?"

"No idea."

"Where is the nearest Magius temple?"

"No id- oh wait! Actually there's one right here in Rin-Turah!"

"Really?" Alexander immediately checked his memories. "Hey, that's right. We actually have a pretty large temple in the City of Turah. I think we should visit the temple first before we go dragon hunting."

"Sure. It'll be a great help if we can restore your powers. At least we do not have to babysit you during the trip." Buccephalas drawled.

Alexander beamed happily at the thought of having his power back. He was itching to get into a fight and spamming lots of fireballs and blizzards! In his memory, Aloxandros even knew a forbidden ice spell called "White Memory".

Damn, it sounds super awesome!
