Chapter 135 Mother-in-law on the rescue

135 Mother-in-law on the rescue

Su Donghai was shocked at her words. He had wanted to give a righteous color to his 'punishment' by mentioning the family rules in front of the servants and everyone. But Jing Lihua had broken his basis with a few sentences from her mouth. He hadn't expected her to be so smart.

True', he had underestimated her.

But it didn't matter. He was the master in the house. He didn't need other's approval. He grimaced at her and said coldly. "Kneel."

Jing Lihua didn't look distressed at all. Instead, she laughed. "Is this it? You shed your mask so easily. I thought you would try harder to appear righteous.' She still recalled how she had been humiliated by this man in her last life. And he did that all the time appearing upright.

"I said kneel." His voice rose. He glanced at the maid who was standing not far from Jing Ijhua. Being gestured, the maid quickly understood and stepped forward to slap Jing Lihua.

However, Jing Lihua wasn't the one she used to be in the past. Her reflexes were fast and with a swift move, not only she dodged that maid but she grabbed her wrist, pulled it behind her back and pushed her to the floor. He moves were so fast, smooth and flawless that everyone was left astonished.

The maid cried pitifully on the floor and Jing Lihua managed to put her in the state while maintaining her elegance. Her actions didn't seem vulgar at all.

"Is this the best you can do, Elder Sur She directly stared into Su Donghai's eyes. Her smirk was playing over her lips.

Su Donghai was speechless. He had no idea when and where did she learn all this.

"If this is all, I should leave. My company is doing great as you might" have already known. So pardon me but I am a very busy person! She bowed again and started to retreat slowly.

"Do you really think you can get away so easily after stepping into my mansion?" Her nonchalance was unnerving Su Donghai. He could not have guessed that a person could anger someone so much by merely acting unconcerned. After all, all his life he had been treated with respect and reverence. He had never been trifled like this before.

"Could it be, you might have something else in stock for me?" Her smirk never left.

This is a game for you? Fine. When we get through you, I would love to see how you still treat it with such insouciance. I wonder why are you so confident. Is this because you feel assured with those shabby bodyguards you brought with you? If you are that smart, you should know that my manor hosts far superior guards let it be in number or ability! Su Donghai had decided to play it dirty. From her sides, quite a few servants slowly neared her. Jing Lihua smiled slowly dropped as she glanced around her.

'So they all will come at me once?' No matter how agile she was, she was still one and they were many.

However, what happened next, neither Jing Lihua or Su Donghai could have expected. The house butler rushed to Su Donghai looking quite petrified. He bowed deeply and said urgently. "Housemaster, this is urgent!

"Silence. Nothing is more urgent than teaching this brat a lesson today! Su Donghai wasn't in the mood of dealing with anything else. Especially after he had been angered this much.

"But Housemaster" The Butler looked like he was about to cry.

"Did you even listen to what I just said? Get out of here. I say there is nothing more important than-"

Su Donghai was cut off by a soft laugh. He froze immediately ancF" forgot whatever he was going to say. Slowly he craned his neck to look at the source of that laugh.

"I can't say I am not amazed at how much importance ling Lihua holds for you Elder Su. For her sake, you would even go to the degree to ignore me?" Her beautiful face held a charismatic charm. Her eyes were so captivating. A playful smile hung on her lips.

"M-Madame Bao-" Su Donghai didn't know what to say.

Jing Lihua's mouth was open wide as she continued staring at her. It was not until Madame Bao mischievously winked at her that she broke out of the trance and greeted her formally.

"You are here at this time?" Su Donghai would never want to appear vulgar in front of that demonic woman. Yes, 'Demonic: She may appear gentle and sweet but people were aware that once she targets someone, death would sound pleasant to him than facing her wrath. 1

"I wonder what is this all about' Madame Bao laughed and walked closer to Jing ilhua. She glanced at Jing Lihua with quizzical eyes as if enquiring about the situation.

Su Dongahi's face grew pale. He had heard from Su Jiayi all about Madame Bao's favoritism towards Jing Lihua. He had also heard how she had engaged in strong friendship and business ties with the prestigious 'Li' family. He would never want to offend them.

The only possible way out of this would be to break ties between Jing Lihua and 'Li's family. Thinking about that, his eyes flashed with trickery. He decided to turn the situation into his favor. Before Jing Lihua could say anything,

"Madame Bao, I was teaching Jing Lihua some etiquettes. She lacks proper mannerism. Just before you arrived, she had been disrespectful towards me. I should not allow her to taint my family's reputation' Su Donghai said in a monotonous tone, he bowed in
front of Madame Bao "I apologize you had to witness this." When he looked up, his face was stiff and stern.

Looking at this all, Jing Lihua's silently prayed for Su Dongahi in her heart. God knew what Madame Bao was planning now. But she was sure, Su Donghai was playing right into her tricks.

"Is that so?" Madame Bao sounded quizzical. She glanced at Jing Lihua. "How could this be? During my time with Jing Lihua in Hong Kong, I had learned she is a very sensible child. I don't think she could have disrespected anyone."

Though Madame Bao sounded genuinely thinking, Jing Lihua could see a slight curl of her lips. She was playing. And she was having a lot of fun playing.
