Chapter 400 - Power Core: Gravity Armament & Power Core: Sub Zero Domain! (4)

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

In that very instant, the whole world seemed to undergo a great change as a thick and almost blinding brownish pillar rose toward the sky, splitting the clouds high above in a manner where one would think they were stabbed by a spear!

BAAAAMM!!!

A powerful ripple broke out the same time the pillar appeared, and in mere seconds the entirety of Silver Moon was rendered into debris and dust that were sent flying into the sky in the form of a towering hurricane which swirled around the light pillar!

BAM!!!

A great burst of an explosion sounded the next moment as the shockwave that destroyed an entire building built from special steel and materials in a fraction of a second crashed against an invisible barrier in mid-flight, shaking the whole earth below and around Moon Sect in a way where it even caused the walls of several buildings to form cracks bit by bit!

"It worked! It stopped the explosion!" Elder Lane was delighted when he saw how the array formed by Elder Shiu and Darla stopped the destructive shockwave that could easily end numerous lives in a flash!

"But for not long!" Darla's expression became grave as she noticed how the barrier that the arrays created once they were triggered started to tremble and even started to show signs of collapsing!

"Fast! Everyone! Fuse your essence into here!" suddenly Darla shouted as placed her palm on a small circular symbol on the ground which was connected with the bigger one in the distance that operated the barrier.

It was a Fusion Array that allowed one to fuse their essence into it and feed the arrays in the distance with Essence that can reinforce them to a limited degree.

In an instant, all the Elders and even Senior Lin placed their palms onto the array Darla has created for safety manner and without asking any question began to channel their essence into it.

Swish!

The moment their essence was fused into the array, the huge barrier that prevented the destructive shockwave to escape and cause catastrophe inside and outside the sect lit up with various lights, and the cracks that threatened to spread all over its surface gradually began to vanish.

"Keep this up, everyone! It is working!" Senior Lin said with a solemn face which at every Elder and Darla nodded.

From then on, time passed in silence and about 5 minutes later the pillar of light finally began to fade away while the shockwave that crashed against the transparent barrier began to weaken.

And after another additional 5 minutes later finally, everything came to a complete halt.

"Is... Is it over?" Elder Lane mumbled as he wiped the sweat away from his forehead and watched at the huge crater in front of him where once his smithery stood.

"Not yet." just as Senior Lin wished to respond a voice appeared from the token of her pocket.

"Huh? Khal?" Senior Lin quickly took the token out of her pocket and with a slightly stupefied gaze asked, "Will there be another explosion?"

However, luckily her fear was only short-lived.

"No, there will be not. But I am proceeding on forging another piece of ore and creating its Life Essence. It will take me about half a day."

"You... What?" Elder Lane yelled up with shock as his eyes widened like saucers.

As a professional blacksmith he knew perfectly well that after successfully creating an ores' essence, one would get completely exhausted and would need at least a whole day to recover.

Yet, that was only after creating either Soul or Spirit Essence! After forming a piece of steels' Life Essence required a blacksmith to rest for an entire week much less after forming God Essence which definitely would require more than a week of rest, could be even a month!

And Khal, who just created a piece of ore's God Essence said he was completely fine and will now attempt to forge another ore without rest? What sorcery was that?

"Is he for real? Is he a monster hidden in human skin?" Elder Lane mumbled as he felt the small tremor in the air, indicating that Khal has already started forging.

Every Elder was stupefied on the side too and as they didn't know what they should say they all looked at Senior Lin.

However, when they glanced at Senior Lin they saw something they have never seen before; anger!

Yes, they have seen her angry before, but this type of anger which was a mix between irritation and annoyance was something they never witnessed from here until now! Her look at this moment was rather scary, hence none of the Elders dared o to speak, much less Darla who usually was not fazed by things.

"I will go in." suddenly Senior Lin exclaimed and began to walk toward the crater.

Darla upon seeing this quickly snapped out of her daze and said, "Sect Master, you can't!"

"And why so?" Senior Lin stopped just before the array, her complexion showing great impatience.

Darla flinched slightly feeling the piercing glare on her skin but quickly said, "B-Because if Sect Master does and crosses the arrays, the arrays will collapse. In order to make the barrier as strong as it can be under the small duration we had, we formed the array in a way where the inside of the barrier is extremely durable but the outside is extremely fragile. Thus... If Sect Master enters, from the outside, the barrier will collapse and once another explosion will occur, there will be nothing to protect the sect!"

When Senior Lin heard the words of Darla her gaze shifted to the ground where the symbols were visible and remained silent. Only after a minute later did she raise her gaze toward the direction where the sound of forging was heard and sighed before turning around and walking back.

"Let's just wait then...." Senior Lin sighed and with sharp eyes, she mumbled, "Though, once he finishes I will definitely make sure to teach him a lesson or two! At the end of the day, I am still the Sect Master thus I can't allow him to destroy buildings one after another as he wishes!"
