Aaron took the elevator to the 97th floor, as soon as he opened the elevator hundreds of keyboards were clacking and the sounds echoed throughout the floor.

"Sir you are here," Williams said as soon as he noticed Aaron.

The man greeting Aaron was a middle-aged man with short black hair, bags hung under his eyes and he yawned lazily as he watched the proceedings.

He was the secretary of Aaron Finnegan, Williams.

The floor contains tech experts, and developers...they were the ones responsible for making sure the game runs smoothly, and now they were super busy with the new update being added.

Aaron walked over to where Williams was and smiled before facing the thousands of screens in front of him.

Both of them were standing a little higher than where the others were and there were two steps on both sides of where they were standing.

"Your health will deteriorate if you don't get enough sleep" Aaron whispered to Williams.

"I'll go to sleep after we are done with today's work" Williams replied him.

"When will the servers be ready?" Aaron asked.

"In an hour at most," Williams said and turn to look at Aaron if he was angry.

"Okay, good work," Aaron said and walked away, he walked towards where the operators were and looked at their work.

Williams sighed in relief as Aaron spoke, he thought he was going to get scolded for taking too much time.

*Ring!!Ring!!*

Williams's phone vibrated in his pocket and he quickly answer it.

"The future has a website right, I should take a look at the website" Alex smiled as he unlocked his phone.

Before he could check their website his phone ran, it was Gabriel calling. Alex smiled as he remembered the trouble they went through when facing the goblin.

'The goblin chased after me so he must think I got killed' Alex chuckled slightly before picking up the call.

"Hey bro, what happened?" Gabriel asked urgently.

"What do you mean" Alex spoke like he didn't know what Gabriel was talking about.

"I mean your character, did you get killed or did you survive, I'm on my way to your house are you at home?"

"Yes, I'm at home," Alex said and Gabriel ended the call.

"Back to what I was doing, I should use my laptop instead. I need to charge my phone"

Alex switched on his laptop and plugged in his phone, the WiFi connected automatically and he quickly opened the web browser.

A knock startled him and he rushed to the door.

"Who's there?" Alex asked as he opened the door.

"Hey bro, what happened," Gabriel asked as he came inside Alex's house.

"What are you waiting for...come in" Gabriel spoke.

Alex was surprised because he wasn't expecting anyone and Gabriel wouldn't dare bring a girl to his house.

A young boy stepped in, he couldn't look up at them so he faced the ground as he walked in.

"Hello," the boy spoke.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

"Gabriel, who's this?" Alex asked as he looked at the boy.

"He's Max..."

"Huh!! Max the high school kid...why is he looking down, is he shy? Are you shy?" Alex faced him.

"No...errrm...a little" Max said as he faced Alex.

"So what happened to you, the goblin suddenly stopped chasing us so we could escape successfully," Gabriel told him.

"I survived, but I gave up all the items in my inventory," Alex said and faced away.

"You don't want to share the coins you got from selling the deer skin, don't worry about it, as long as your account isn't terminated" Gabriel sneered at him and sat on his bed.

"How did you know I was lying?" Alex asked.

"We've been friends for a long time when you lie you always face away but I also have other ways of knowing if you are lying," Gabriel said and Max chuckled a little making both of them look at him.

"I'm sorry... I'm very sorry" Max said.

ραпdα nᴏνa| сom "So you can apologize, when we were in the game you said something about not being able to defeat you right," Gabriel said and stood up.

Max flinched and moved backward as Gabriel walked toward him, the look on Gabriel's face scared him and he looked away.

"Gabriel stop scaring the kid," Alex said as he walked towards his laptop.

"I'm just joking," Gabriel said.

"What are you up to...do you have food, I'm a little hungry," Gabriel said.

"I have raw food, if you are that hungry you can cook," Alex said, he was also hungry but too tired to cook.

"I can cook, I'm a really good cook" Max raised his hands as he spoke and both of them looked at him.

"You can cook...then you should cook," Gabriel said with a smile.

"Hey, take note you volunteer, we are not forcing you to cook " Alex spoke immediately.

"I like cooking, you can ask my mum...I usually cook at home, even my girlfriend likes my cooking"

"Y-You have a girlfriend?"

"Yes... don't you guys have girlfriends, you are both good-looking, why am I even asking?" Max said and walked towards Alex's kitchen.

"Alex do you have a girlfriend?" Gabriel whispered.

"Why are you asking me that...do you have a girlfriend?" Alex whispered back.

"*Cough* so what were you doing earlier?" Gabriel avoided Alex's question because both of them knew the answers to their questions.

Alex doesn't have a girlfriend because he hasn't found his type, that's what he thinks but maybe he's haven't gotten over his first love. As for Gabriel he likes flirting so much that he can't be in a serious relationship.

"I was trying to look at Future company website, some valuable information might be in their forum"

"You are right, that hasn't crossed my thoughts"

"That's because it hasn't been long since we brought our VR helmet"

"Okay, let's see what's there," Gabriel said in excitement.

"What would you guys like?" Max asked with a smile on his face.

"Just make anything delicious, we'll take anything" Gabriel replied immediately.
