419  Sebastian Vs The Chaos Mongers! [1]

Sebastian forgot something, all Chaos Mongers that were referred to as Soaring Devourers in Manapedia only had access to one magic domain in their lives due to their genetic makeup, and this magic domain was chaos magic.

Now, the only problem with this was that he had not seen his competitors in action enough to gauge the amount of strength that would single him out as a cheat monster that needed to be dissected to know his secret.

At this moment, Sebastian was left in a dilemma, he really wanted to think to know the right amount of strength to exert but his opponents were not playing along with his plans, the 3 mighty Chaos Mongers were already diving towards him like birds of prey whooping down to capture their prey.

He had little time to think over his actions.

Having read about Chaos Mongers, he knew how dangerous their magic domain could be in battle which put him under more pressure. If he lost the initiative from the beginning, a lot of things would have gone wrong.

While he still prayed against it, it happened, the Chaos Mongers attacked.

What seemed like a black hole appeared beside Sebastian the next moment, and from inside it emerged the 2 dangerous beaks of one of the Chaos Mongers that was already wide open with the intention to gobble him up.

Proficiency with and quality of chaos magic of the predator using it determined how much the laws of the world could be twisted to one's bidding.

What the Chaos Monger did was simply temporarily twist the laws of nature governing the region between him and Sebastian. Temporarily, the law of distance was negated, enabling him to arrive before Sebastian instantly.

This was the law of chaos; this was Chaos Magic!

Instantly after the first Chaos Monger made his move and attacked, the remaining 2 did as they arrived before Sebastian the next moment in the same manner with their 2 dangerous beaks already going for the attack.

The time interval in between all these actions was too small, Sebastian could not make any meaningful thought, he reacted instinctively.

When they finally hit, Sebastian felt the effects of chaos magic firsthand.

Just a casual attack from the 3 Chaos Mongers dealt so much damage that Sebastian felt like he was facing a dozen normal purple tier predators.

The pain was so much that he gritted his teeth, despite this it kept on biting at him like a thousand needles were poking at his brain. The Chaos Mongers didn't just stop at this after they finally got him with their powerful pair of beaks.

If their beaks were their lancers to stab, their powerful wings were their swords to cut while their sturdy leg claws were perfect for rough destruction.

The clever Chaos Mongers attacked Sebastian from 3 different directions which gave them the perfect opportunity to rip him apart piece by piece.

They stabbed, cut, and clawed in different directions.

All these happened in just a few seconds, but the pain was so much that Sebastian felt like he had gone through lifetimes. The damage to him compared to his overall health may not be much yet, but the pain was the real deal.

This pain was what finally flipped the switch in Sebastian's head.

How dare he hold back when his enemies were not holding back? If Space Beasts did not hold back, as a Megalodon, he would not also hold back.

Besides, if being too good in this tournament would be detrimental to him or even cost him his life, then why compete for 1st place? In both his lives, he was not used to holding back and he would not start learning it now.
