Vampire Lord's Demonic Wives

Chapter 142 Manuscripts Inside Pentagon

Zoravec knew that he needed to stay within the vampire realm to learn the basics. After having the chat with the seer Zoravec headed towards his home when he bumped into Blake once again. "Zoravec? Where are you coming from?"

Blake grabbed his arm right outside the cafe when Zoravec was pulled out of his thoughts. He glanced at him with surprise and confusion. "Oh? I went back to the academy to have a chat with that elven seer."

He truthfully spoke, seizing the chance knowing that he held a lot of knowledge. Blake's resources and connections could come handy for him. "Elven seer? Why? Do you have a problem with stats?"

Blake asked with a concerned look, however his wild guess was quite accurate. Zoravec smiled and replied with a calm expression. He knew what he had been doing and how to do it. "Oh no. Everything is fine. I was just curious about something."

Zoravec leaned in a bit, posing his one hand over his mouth as if he intended to whisper. "You know there are numerous elements but nobody talks about one certain element called chaos." Blake's eyes widened upon listening to that as he dragged Zoravec inside the cafe.

"What the hell? Are you trying to get us killed?" He gritted his teeth and rebuked him. It was the moment Zoravec noticed that the cafe was empty. Blake seemed to be half angry and frightful about the whole matter.

"What do you mean? Did I ask something wrong or controversial?" He knew that Blake might have known something about the matter. Zoravec noticed the hesitation on that elven seer's face too though he did not know the reason.

"Obviously! Don't you know that nobody has ever had that cursed element?" Blake gestured to Zoravec to make him sit, while he took the opposite chair. It appeared that the cafe was run by Blake and that particular one was just another branch of their chain.

"It is said that after aeons only one person is born who is bound to possess this element. He is bound to be the destroyer of the worlds. Since chaos is the most powerful element and the first one to ever exist."

Zoravec carefully heard everything as he matched the information with the one he received from the elven seer. One thing was certain that the chaos element had everyone frightful and anticipated. But he was still unsure what really happened to the previous sages who possessed it?

Zoravec leaned back in his chair, absorbing the gravity of Blake's words. The revelation about the chaos element left him both intrigued and unsettled. He knew he had stumbled upon something significant.

A hidden secret that had been concealed from the world. And it made Zoravec uneasy because he possessed that element. Zoravec's eyes locked with Blake's, searching for answers he knew existed. He could sense the fear and caution in Blake's gaze, mirroring the same emotions that churned within him.

"What happened to the previous sages who possessed the chaos element? Do you know anything about their fate? Or where did they go or die?" Blake's expression tightened, his brows furrowing in deep thought upon hearing the question.

"It's all speculation and folklore mainly based on guesses and rumours. The stories say that those who harnessed the chaos element were consumed by its power. They lost control, bringing chaos and destruction wherever they went. The sages before us...they vanished, disappeared without a trace."

Zoravec's mind raced with numerous questions, contemplating the implications of his newfound knowledge. He had been drawn to the mysteries of his element, but this revelation added an even deeper layer of intrigue. Somehow more worry had been added to his mind regarding no available source.

"So, you believe that possessing the chaos element makes one a threat, a harbinger of doom? And that is the fate of the owner who harnesses this particular element?" Blake nodded slowly, his gaze filled with a mix of trepidation and concern.

"That's the prevailing belief. The pentagon's council has forbidden any research articles or runes with the chaos element. It's considered too dangerous, too unpredictable. They fear what it could unleash upon the world."

Zoravec's determination burned within him to know more about the origin of his element. He knew he had to tread carefully, but he couldn't ignore the allure of understanding the chaos element and its true potential.

Zoravec's mind raced as he absorbed the weight of Blake's words. The revelation of the chaos element being associated with destruction and the potential to unravel worlds sent chills down his spine. His curiosity now turned into a growing concern for his own safety and the consequences of delving deeper into this mysterious element.

"Is there no way to harness the power of chaos without succumbing to its destructive nature?" Zoravec asked him, desperation lacing his voice. While his every digging made Blake suspicious. He was not the kind of person who would inquire about something for no reason.

Blake's gaze softened, a mixture of curiosity and concern evident in his eyes. "There have been theories, ancient texts, and whispers of a way to find balance, to wield the chaos element without being consumed by it. But such knowledge is scarce and guarded closely inside the pentagon."

"It is said that only the most enlightened and disciplined individuals can hope to unlock its true potential without falling into darkness." Blake did not seem to be sure of his words since everything was based on rumours and the tales from the ancestors.

A flicker of determination ignited within Zoravec to get those manuscripts. Despite the risks and the ominous reputation surrounding the chaos element, he couldn't deny the burning temptation. He had to find a way to wield this power responsibly, to protect himself and his women.

Zoravec thought about everything in his heart, his expression resolute while Blake stared at him. 'I will not be deterred. I must uncover the truth behind the chaos element and master its power to be the undefeated lord.' Blake studied Zoravec intently.
